- 2-3/4" x 4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 2-3/4" x 4" of larger Sweet Sorbet plaid design from Country Gingham 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
- 2-1/2" x 4" of larger Sweet Sorbet plaid design from Country Gingham 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
- 2-3/4" x 4-1/4" from Flirty Flamingo Cardstock
- 2-3/4" x 4-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 3-1/4" from Flirty Flamingo Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 3-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
Fold the vertical Sweet Sorbet card so you do a valley fold at the 5-1/2" score mark and a mountain fold at the 2-3/4" score mark.
Mount the ""head over heels about you" sentiment from the Love Cats Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Flirty Flamingo Ink Pad. Stamp it on the horizontal 2-3/4" x 4" white rectangle in the center.
Adhere the stamped white rectangle to the inside of the back flap of the card along the bottom. Leave a 1/8" border of Sweet Sorbet showing at the bottom, left, and right edges.
Adhere the 2-3/4" x 4" piece of Country Gingham Designer Paper to the inside of the back flap of the card at the top. Leave a 1/8" border of Sweet Sorbet showing on the top, left, and right edges. The bottom edge will overlap the top of the white layer a bit.
Unlock the scalloped heart punch from the Heart Punch Pack. Hold the punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide one end of the horizontal 2-1/2" x 3-1/4" Flirty Flamingo strip into the opened punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch.
Mount the "Hi there, Valentine" sentiment from the Love Cats Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Flirty Flamingo Ink Pad. Stamp it near the center of one end of the horizontal 2-1/2" x 3-1/4" white strip, leaving room to punch it out.
Unlock the smooth heart punch from the Heart Punch Pack. Hold the punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the stamped sentiment into the opened punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch.
Tip: I cut the group of hearts off of my laying down cat image from the Love Cats Set so I could stamp them separately anywhere I want easily. If you don't want to cut your stamp apart, use a Marker to ink up only the hearts. Or, mask the cat image using a Post-It Note before inking up the hearts using the Ink Pad. Just remember to remove the Post-It Note before stamping on your project.
Mount the hearts from the laying down cat image from the Love Cats Set on Block A. Ink them up with the Flirty Flamingo Ink Pad. Stamp them below the sentiment on the heart punch out. Leave the stamp on the block.
Adhere the stamped sentiment white heart punch out to the center of the scalloped Flirty Flamingo heart punch out.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals on the back of the matted hearts along the TOP ONLY to adhere the matted heart punch out to the inside back flap of the card so it is centered side to side and is about 3/8" from the top edge.
Adhere the 2-1/2" x 4" piece of Country Gingham Designer Paper to the front of the small flap at the bottom of the opened card.
Pick out the rectangle die that cuts out a 2-5/8" x 4" rectangle from the Stitched Rectangles Dies. Put it on top of the 3" x 4-1/4" Flirty Flamingo rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Mount the upside down cat image from the Love Cats Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad. Stamp it near the bottom of the vertical 2-1/2" x 4" white rectangle so it is centered side to side.
Pick out the rectangle die that cuts out a 2-1/4" x 3-5/8" rectangle from the Stitched Rectangles Dies. Put it on top of the stamped white rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the cat is centered side to side and is close to the bottom edge. Run through the machine.
Re-ink the hearts from the laying down cat image on Block A using the Flirty Flamingo Ink Pad. Stamp them three times above the upside down cat image as shown.
Use the Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Write Marker to color in the heart at the end of the string the cat is playing with and to outline the string.
Adhere the cat rectangle to the center of the Flirty Flamingo rectangle.
Put strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive on the back of the matted cat rectangles only about 1/2 way up. Remove the protective backings and adhere the matted cat rectangles to the bottom flap as shown. Make sure not to get adhesive above the score line or the card won't open.
Close the card by tucking the top of the matted cat rectangles under the bottom of the matted heart punch outs.
