A great colourful card for the littlies. I love this set Little Monkey with the matching punch. I think my grandies will like making monkeys with this punch on the weekend. I might be in for some fun monkeying around!!!
Project Recipe
Take a piece of white cardstock measuring 14.3cm x 10cms and using your stamparatus, stamp the word HAPPY stamp in Melon Mambo, clean stamp, move down one notch, stamp the word in Daffodil Delight, clean stamp and then move down one notch, stamp in Lemon Lime Twist, clean stamp and then move down one notch, then finally stamp in Pumpkin Pie. Clean stamp.
Stamp the word Birthday at an angle in Black Memento Ink. Using Versamark and copper embossing powder, heat emboss the sentiment "Little Monkey".
Randomly stamp the leaf images around the edges of the card. I used my Stampin Write markers to give a two toned effect to the leaves.
On Daffodil Delight cardstock, stamp three bananas and using the punch cut these out. Stick together at the top to form a bunch.
Using Copper Clay cardstock stamp two monkeys and then punch them out. Then onto Petal Pink cardstock stamp the face (eyes closed) and punch out from Petal Pink. The other eyes open stamp is on the full stamp so stamp the monkey onto Petal Pink and then position your punch to cut out the face and ears only. Put the two monkeys faceses and ears on. Their tales will loop together and you can now attach these to your card. Attach the bananas down in the bottom left hand corner.
Your card front should be ready now to attach to your card base which is Melon Mambo. If you are giving the card to a male child you might like to either use Pumpkin Pie, Lemon Lime Twist or Daffodil Delight.
For the inside I simply stamped a monkey in one corner.
