I paired the beautiful Hello Beautiful papers with a fun fold to make this oh so pretty birthday card.
Project Recipe
Card Base: Cut Flirty Flamingo 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½. SCORE paper at 1 ½ and 5 ¾. Fold paper on score lines.
Card Front: Cut one floral paper from Hello Irresistible 1 ¼ X 5 ¼ and one floral paper from Hello Irresistible 2 ½ X 5 ¼. Attach to each folded front piece of your card.
Use Stylish Shapes dies to cut a circle from Basic White the size needed for the sentiment you want to use. I used the circle that measures 2 ⅛. Stamp sentiment with Flirty Flamingo ink.
Use Stylish Shapes dies to cut a circle the next size large than the white circle from Flirty Flamingo, I used the circle that measures 2 ½. Emboss this piece with Basics embossing folder.
Attach stamped circle to embossed Flirty Flamingo circle with dimensionals. Attach to Left side of the folded card front with adhesive on the back of the Flirty Flamingo circle ONLY on the part of the circle attached to the card. Add 3 rhinestones to the stamped white circle.
I used numbers in the Alphabet A La Mode die set to make a card for my cousin’s 65th birthday.
Card Insert: For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Cut a piece of print paper used on the front of your card ½ X 4. Attach to the top of the card insert. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
Envelope Flap: Cut print paper 2 ¼ X 6. Glue the print paper to the envelope flap and trim using the flap as a guide.
