C reate easy cards with your double-sided patterned paper and a few embellishments
Project Recipe
Cut a colored card base that matches your DSP 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" and score at 4-1/4". Cut two pieces of white 4" x 5-1/4", one for front, one for inside. Cut double-sided DSP to 3-3/4" x 5".
Cut the DSP layer in half both ways to create 4 equal rectangles. This will be at 2-1/2" and at 1-7/8". Arrange the rectangles into their larger rectangle again and keep track of the center corners. You will mark with a pencil 1" from the center corners both up and over. Then score between your pencil lines to create the diagonal line. Repeat on all the center corners.
Glue the flaps down on the DSP. Lay these on the white layer and using your pencil, lightly line where the diagonal edges are. Remove the DSP so you can find a stamp to fit in your penciled area. Stamp a sentiment in the card base color.
Glue your layers to the card. Embellish with little embellishments or trinkets of your choice. Make sure you also decorate the inside and envelope by cutting an extra strip of coordinating DSP for each.
