Project Recipe
Cut Cardstock as follows:
1. Basic White Thick - cut the Card base measuring 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", score along long edge at 4 1/4".
2. Basic White - cut a piece 3 3/4" x 4 3/4" this piece will assist in aligning all the colored card stock pieces
3. cut one piece 1" x 4" from each of the following solid card stock colors: Melon Mambo, Magenta Madness, Polished Pink, Flirty Flamingo and Blushing Bride cardstock.
4. Basic White - cut a piece for stamping and die cutting approximately 5 1/2" x 4"
5. Basic White - cut a piece for punching out a sentiment approximately 3" x 3"
6. Silver Foil paper - 3 1/2" x 3" to die cut a couple kitchen tools
Adhere the 1" x 4" colored cardstock strips to the Basic White cardstock base, lining them up nice and close to one another as if it were one paper. Do you best the line up the top and bottom, however we will trim uneven pieces to get a nice straight edge before mounting to the Basic White Thick card base.
Stamp the bowl image on the Basic White card stock in each of the following color Melon Mambo, Magenta Madness, Polished Pink, Flirty Flamingo and Blushing Bride. Die cut each bowl.
Then I cut in to the top of the bowl to the inside rim to the left and to the right side without cutting the back rim of the bowl off the bowl. Do this on 4 of the 5 bowls and then tuck the bowl inside each other turning this and that until you add the bowl on top inside - this is the one bowl that is not cut.
Also stamp the rubber scraper image in the color of your choice and die cut the image.
Die cut the whisk and spatula out of the silver foil paper.
Criss cross the three kitchen tools together and tie the Polished Pink ribbon around the three tools.
On the 3" x 3" Basic White piece, stamp you sentiment and punch out using the Modern Label punch. I only put the paper into the punch about 3/4's of the way so the right side of the stamped image remained flat adhere it flush with right edge of the Pink striped card layer. Adhere using Multipurpose glue.
Adhere the grouping of bowls to the left side of the card front with Multipurpose glue. and adhere the kitchen tools to the side of the bowl using dimensionals.
Add some Iridescent Rhinestones to the card front to give it a little sparkle.
Optional: Add anything you like to the inside of the card whether it is a stamped image or additional sentiment.
Now your card is complete. Yay!
